- Grant application should highlight the innovative nature of the program in question.
- Grant applicant must be a Manheim Township High School student.
- Student organizations/clubs may apply.
- Grant application must be supported by a teacher/administrator, who will sign off on application and manage awarded funds.
- David Rilatt, MTHS Building Principal, must also sign off on application prior to submission.
- A maximum of $1,000 per grant is available. Applications for more than this amount must be submitted through MTEF’s General Grant process.
- Grant must benefit more than one student
- Funds may be used for transportation, registration, or admission fees and food.
- Funds cannot be used for textbooks, tuition, scholarships, or programs that are already in place. If the program is regularly funded, a grant may not be applied for through the Student Impact Fund.
- Funds may be paid to other organizations to bring experts or resources, such as an artist in residence or public speaker.
- Grants may be submitted at any point in the school year. Notifications of decision are provided within two months of submission, often sooner.
- Upon award, student recipients, together with supporting teacher or administrator, are responsible for ensuring that –
- Grant funds are spent during the school year in which they are received.
- A final report and requisition reporting must be completed by May 1 of the school year in which the grant was received.
- Five photos of the grant in action are submitted to MTEF with final report. These photos must be approved by teacher/administrator who will confirm all students have photography consent.
- Student Impact Representatives are invited to see grant in action.
